Overview
Today there is around 40 million litres of sherry being produced each year and the market is in balance in terms of the supply and demand and the quality has increased. Beltran talks us through the 5 different styles of dry sherry which are made from the Palomino grape:Fino and Manzanilla, Amontillado, and then the aged varieties Oloroso and Palo Cortado. The sweet styles are made from the Pedro Ximenez grape and the cream sherries are blended from dry styles. Graham talks us about the styles that are popular in some of the markets.
