Overview
Jerez in the most southern province of Spain. Jerez (meaning sherry) is a town in the western part of the province about 20km from the sea. Beltran gives us an overview of what sherry actually is and stands for and its history which stems from Mediterranean influences from 3000 years ago when the vine arrived in Spain. We also talk about the Solera system, the soils and climate and about pruning and picking in the vineyard!
