Overview

Chris visited the vineyards of Château Tour Baladoz and Château La Croizille in St Emilion where Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are the dominant grapes. We taste and talk with technical director Jean-Michel Garcion about the 2011 and 2005 vintage, the blends and how the wines compare with other vintages. Jean-Michel tells us about some of the experiments in the winery with different grape varieties and winemaking techniques such as barrel fermentation.
