- Brexit with Miles Beale from the WSTA Part 1
Overview
Miles Beale is Chief Executive of the WSTA (Wine & Spirit Association). We caught up with him at the London Wine Fair to discuss the potential impact of Brexit on the wine industry.
We talk about the current tariffs in Europe for wine and what it would mean for the UK should we take the 'No deal is better than a bad deal' approach and trade under WTO rules. We also look at some of the opportunities that may exist under Brexit. The UK is the second biggest importer of wine in the world by volume and value and half of wine imports come from Europe.
