We talk with professor Giovanni Battista Tornielli from Veneto University about the modern tools that are used by researchers looking at wine. This includes the ingenious micro vine, sprays that slow down the ripening, Genetic modified grapes, that have had specific genes removed. We also discuss how DNA mapping is being used to greatly enhance the speed of developing new varieties with the traits you want.
