Cape Town wines coming to you soon

Ever thought of having a Cape Town red? South Africa has launched a new Wine of Origin (WO) District for Cape Town, bringing 30 different wineries under the same District. The wineries include Klein Constantia on Table Mountain and Durbanville Hills (in Durbanville Hills) just north of Cape Town

The rationale for grouping together under the new Cape Town District is that they are all close to the cooling affects of the Atlantic Ocean and have a similar climate. The hope is that the new district will be able to leverage the recognition of Cape Town better than they could have by themselves.
