- Arne Bercher on Baden
Overview
Arne describes the wine region of Baden in southern Germany which borders Alsace in France and Switzerland in the south. It's the warmest of Germany's wine regions but because it is very long from north to south it produces a diverse range of wines, from Riesling in the north to the trio of Pinot grapes - Pinot Blanc (Weissburgunder), Pinot Gris (Grauburgunder) and Pinot Noir (Spatburgunder) - in the south.
