Naked Wines announce £15m loss

Naked Wines, the UK-based mail order wine company, continues to make a loss as it follows CEO's Nick Devlin declaration that the company would not “pursue growth at any cost” and instead would seek to trade at or around a break even level.

The loss announcement was delayed to the 19th September from when it was originally due on the 4th July 2023. Shortly after the delayed date, founder of Naked Wines Rowan Gormley returned as chairman and markets responded to his return, with the share price dropping 9%.
Back in 2021 when it posted its last profit of £2.9m, the shares were at £8.90, but now trade at £0.59, a fall of 94% in value.
