CRAV crave attention for their supposed plight

A group of militant winemakers who are mainly active in the Languedoc-Roussillon region in the south of France, have attacked a telephone exchange. Thousands in the Haute-Garonne near Toulouse were left without a telephone or internet connection over 2 days. The words CRAV were scrawled on the telephone exchange indicating who might have been responsible. CRAV stands for Comité régional d’action viticole (Regional Committee of Wine Action). They are believed to be responsible for a number of terrorist acts that have sought to highlight the difficulties facing winemakers in the region.
