Accolade Wines wins Manufacturer of the Year Award

Technology in wine hit the news this week with Accolade Wines beating the likes of BMW and Jaguar to win the Manufacturer MX, Manufacturer of the Year Award.

Accolade, Britain’s biggest wine supplier, has the largest bottling plant in Europe based in Bristol, bottling 300 million bottles of wine. It ships wines in bulk and bottles many wines in the UK, making considerable economic and environmental savings in the process.

Meanwhile, ConeTech has announced a new product to reduce alcohol in wine. Low and No Alcohol wines are a continued trend expected for 2019 and the new technology will automate the process of removing or decreasing alcohol in wine, as well as be far more precise in removing just the alcohol while leaving the wine's flavours and aromas intact.
