Chapel Down expands
Chapel Down have raised £4million via Crowdfunding to fund expansion of their vineyards. The wine producer has now acquired another 73 hectares of prime vineyard in Kent with sites in Boxley and Sandhurst. The vineyards will be planted with vines for sparkling wines in the next couple of years. This is to accommodate increase in demand for English Wine predicted over the next 25 years. English wines continue to see an increase in demand, and much of the growth forecast is expected to come from exports.
