Asda award winning Malbec crashes site

As mentioned last week, Asda was one of the winners last week at the Decanter World Wine Awards, and its award winning own label Chilean Malbec was widely reported in the press, creating overwhelming demand. So much so that demand for the La Moneda Reserva Malbec discounted to £4.37 crashed the Asda website and quickly sold out. The wine won a Platinum Best in Show award in the Best Red Single-Varietal Under £15 category.
