What's topical this Christmas...? Two of the leading Prosecco and Cava brands have launched their new packaging ready for the Christmas rush. The Lunetta Prosecco brand has introduced a more premium bottle design whilst Juve and Camps is presenting its Premium de la Familia Cava in 3 different formats each in a bespoke wooden box. Last year UK sparkling wine sales were up £25.4m in the 6 weeks up to Christmas whilst Champagne sales were down 8% in the same period. Meanwhile Oddbins have just launched their Christmas campaign What The Fox which is supposedly quirky but is actually a bit Odd and The Mirror online newspaper has recommended it's top 8 gifts for couples and wine tasting came 2nd. So you know where to come?! plug plug. And if you thought it was just mulled wine on offer at Christmas, Waitrose felt the need to launch a seasonal range of bleach with Mulled Spice aromas, much to the disdain of social media users. Who knew that's what we needed in our lives!
