Covid 19 Round up

South Africa has been flip flopping over allowing wines to be exported during their lockdown. Initially, wine was allowed to be driven to the ports for export, then this was banned but, as of Thursday, they have decided to let it be moved and exported.

CEO of The Fladgate Partnership (which includes Taylor’s, Fonseca and Croft), Adrian Bridge, said that social distancing measures could preclude the foot-treading of grapes for vintage Port production.
