Bordeaux 2015 first prices still increasing

2015 is considered to be as good a vintage as 2010, and it certainly will benefit from 5 years of technological advances in the vineyard. It won't be known as a truly great vintage as a whole but some very great wines have been made. Now the opening prices are being released Clos du Marquis and Clerc Milon have added increases of over 20% on the opening prices of their 2014 wines. Clos du Marquis which Neal Martin described as a wine with swagger is meant to be the more affordable taste of its parent estate Leoville Las Cases - but with a 20% increase does it perhaps have too much swagger? Meanwhile Rieussec didn't change it's price at all, but it is still well above many back vintages. Wait for Batailley and Grand-Puy-Lacoste, “where, hopefully, there will be better value for money,” advises Farr Vintners.
