Bordeaux 2019 vintage is on sale now with big cuts in price while the quality looks good
The well regarded 2019 Bordeaux vintage is being released for sale at the moment, with each Chateau setting their own prices and one trend in common: the prices are lower. This is a break from the trend of prices going up on good vintages and remaining steady for poor vintages and reflects the current world economic situation. Wines are being released at a steady pace with two examples below.
Château Palmer’s 2019 vintage today at €161 per bottle ex-negociant, 33% less than its 2018.
Château Pontet-Canet 2019 comes in at €61 per bottle ex-negociant, 31% cheaper than last year.
